Prayer Walk

Dear Church Family,

We have a responsibility to greatly impact our community! I don't believe you want to belong to a church where you simply attend on Sunday morning. On the contrary, I believe you want to belong to a church that will change the community in which you live. Avalon Church is such a church!

How does our church be a light and a vehicle of change to our neighbors? We accomplish this by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through authentic relationships and relevant ministries. We need a physical presence in this community and we need a facility that allows us to reach this goal!

When I look around our beautiful neighborhoods, I see a lot of schools, banks, grocery stores, restaurants and offices, but where are our churches? I believe God has placed the responsibility on us to answer that question. We answer it by having a building in the heart of Avalon Park; one which proudly proclaims to all who see it, that there is light, there is hope, and there is love, and it can be found in the person of Jesus Christ.

I have spent much time praying that our unified efforts to erect a building will be a wonderful spiritual experience for our church family. I ask you to pray that God would give you a passion for what He has called us to do. People all around us want great relationships, want to know they are significant, and want to enjoy a life that brings true contentment, satisfaction, joy, and peace. We can offer them all of that in Jesus.

We're launching out on an incredible journey and there are no other people I'd rather partner with than you!
