At Avalon Church we believe life is to be lived in community. During His earthly ministry Jesus formed a group of twelve other men and did life with them. They talked, prayed, laughed, cried, learned and ate together in an environment that promoted authentic relationships and growth. And it wasn’t just a Sunday thing for them. Community happened on a daily basis, all week long.

We provide opportunities for everyone to have a similar experience through numerous activities that occur throughout the week:

Life Groups gather in homes around our community during the week to form strong relationships and discuss biblical principles in an open and safe environment. Whatever stage of live you find yourself in there is a group for you.

Bible Study Groups are designed to maintain the familiarity of small group while moving into a more detailed study of the Bible. These groups typically are scheduled for six to eight weeks and are meant to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God.

Avalon Classes for larger groups is a collection of many different classes offered during the year consisting of topics of interest to a large and varied range of people. “Foundations,” a study of the basic concepts of the Christian faith, is one such class.

Connection Events are regular monthly events focused on simply getting together to have fun and enjoy life with other people.

The Prayer Center is a resource available to everyone to safely and confidentially share needs, allowing the pastoral staff and a select group on the Prayer Team to pray for you and your situation on a daily basis. There is a very special connection and sense of belonging when you know someone is consistently praying for you.
