Jesus Christ is the virgin born Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a completely sinless human life in thought and deed. Jesus voluntarily offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice by dying for the sins of all people who will trust in Him for salvation.

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The true Christ follower seeks to live under His control daily. Evidence of the fullness of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is boldness to witness for Jesus Christ.

Salvation is a gift from God to humanity. No one could ever make up for their sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer for forgiveness can anyone be saved from the penalty of sin. Eternal life begins the moment a person receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Humanity is the supreme object of God’s creation. Made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Man and woman were created sinless but voluntarily chose to disobey God and forfeited their state of innocence. As a result of the original sin all people are now born with a sin nature and therefore separated from God.

The Church is the community of believers who share a common faith in Jesus Christ, commitment to the Scriptures, and follow Christ’s commission to make disciples throughout the entire world. The Church is intended to be a preview of what God’s Kingdom looks like on earth as it is in heaven as they worship and grow together, care for one another, and bless the world.
