Sundays | 6PM

Our Goal at 220 is to introduce the gospel in a real way to our students and cultivate an authentic relationship with Jesus. In partnership with families, the youth ministry of 220 exists to engage 100% of the students under its care, to train them to live independently in Christ, and to send them out as exceptional, Godly men and women of integrity who will transform their homes, their schools, their churches, their workplaces, and their worlds for Christ. The origin of our name is from Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

First you’ll have a little time to hang out with other students, we’ll usually play a game or two, and then you’ll hear a challenging message from God’s Word. This is the best place to get to know other students at Avalon Church.

My Crazy, Dysfunctional Thanksgiving

Usually around Thanksgiving things get a little hectic, maybe a little crazy and possibly a little dysfunctional. This is not only a 2015 issue but has proven throughout our biblical history. As Jesus sat at the center of the  table during the Lords Supper, there was a lot going on, Judas betraying Jesus, Disciples fighting over who was the greatest among each other! Jesus sits at the table and allows us during this season to refocus our thankfulness and worship towards him during this Thanksgiving!

What will the New Year bring? Undoubtedly lots of new births and deaths, some new gadget and new dance craze, but it also brings all sorts of potential and hope. Where do we start, how do we make this the best year ever? We turn to the Bible and Jesus’ words to find out more.

Christmas is complicated enough. There are presents to pick, Exams to study for, and family dynamics to navigate. The story of Christmas – God’s most important message to mankind – shouldn’t be complicated. In this message, Pastor Arthur unpacks the bottom line of Christmas. And it’s a bottom line that is truly “good news.”

A message on keeping Christ at the center especially around the CHAOS of the season!
